Two days later, a lady (who had seen Barney's profile on here) called and said she had seen him earlier in the week. This is a great site!! Barney Miniature Schnauzer - Male Safe At Home   Time Missing:  12 days 12 hours Miles from home:  5 Went missing from: Madison, Mississippi United States Springbrook subdivision How: During a move - Smitty goes out every day to use the bathroom and returns on his own. He did not come back and after 30 minutes we begain looking for him. Found by: Smitty, our schnauzer, wandered through the woods behind our home for 11 days to a home about 3.5 miles away. The homeowner saw him playing with her dog and was able to lure him to her patio with dog biscuits. She contacted her neighbor -who looked on the Dog Detective website, found a match and called our home. He has lost six pounds, is limping and was covered in ticks- but he has been checked out by our vet and should make a full recovery. We feel estatic and blessed. We thought he was gone for good. Thanks to a great neighbor and Dog Detective- you've made a beleiver out of me. This is 4 months to the day after he went missing that I recieved this and it was in fact my little man that was stolen from me before christmas. Dont give up hope because just when you think its been far too long miracles happen and we knew each others sounds before we even reached the kennel. Kilo
