Saber is a St. Bernard/Golden
Retriever mix. Her coloring is of
a Saint, a ligt brownish/red and
white. Saber had a haircut about 3 weeks ago. Her hair is short and her tail is bushy. She will not take treats
from anyone but her family, and
most likely will not eat solid dog
food. She will eat it if it has
water in it. She has come a long
ways with our family, I'm not sure
how she will be with someone
new. She may be a little timid,
and will be more comfortable
with a woman. She was not
patient with our kids and other
dog when we first got her, but is
now. I don't know how she would
react in a new situation. We miss
her and want her home with her
family! |

Cooper has long fur and small, floppy ears. She is actually a mixed breed She limps on her front leg due to a past injury. I was getting gas at Biggs junction off I-90. Cooper jumped out of the car window when I was paying. I got in the car and drove off without checking for her. I was an hour away when I noticed she was gone. I came back and have been looking in this area for two days now. Phone: 406-546-9719 |
Location details: Biggs, Oregon. Interstate 90 runs east and west. Some other highway runs north into Washinton (over a bridge across the Columbia) and south into the central Oregon interior. Biggs is near the mouth of the Deschutes River. It is also near the Dalles. It is in betweens the Dalles dam and the John Day dam exits. The town of Rufus is about 5 miles east. I lost her at the Pilot gas station/ truck stop.

has a tendency to run away
but eventually returns, unless
stolen which is what happened
when she was taken, she had tags
with a phone number to west yellow-
stone, MT and a green halter w/ a
red rope leash attached which was broken
half-way. |

At a rest area
on I-80 in northern
Indiana. STRANGE CIRCUMSTANCES:
(so please read our long-
winded story....)
her leash broke while on a walk in a snowstorm at night.
we searched for hours and finally slept in our pick-up and waited for her eventual return, worried sick about
all the cars and trucks.
In talking with workers
the next morning we learned a woman in a white van had
found our dog and taken
her, to florida? she said.
but we called our house in
montana and our roomate
recieved a call from this
woman saying she was
taking her to california?
we notified law enforcement
and the tollbooth agency
to be on the look out,
to no avail.
if anyone has heard someone's version of these events, please contact us!
this dog is VERY LOVED
AND MISSED!
