Found Dog # 995680 Date Found: Sep 10, 2008 Pet Name: Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog Gender: Male Size: Medium (20-50 lbs) Age: Unknown Color: Brown & Black & White Description: This dog was found around 1.30am on September, 10 on Fletcher and State in the Fountain Square neigborhood. This is a very friendly male Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (or a mix of this breed). He is brow, black, tan and white with ears that stand straight up. His fur is a couple of inches long. He's well behaved and walks nicely on a leash. He also knows "sit". When I opened my car door he jumped right in. It seems to me that this is someone's beloved pet. He loved to play with my lab mix and loves getting petted. He's a very good boy, very hungry and a little dirty but a good boy. Unfortunately the rest of my family would not let me keep him at my home so i had no choice but to have Indianapolis Animal Control pick him up. So that's where he is now. Their shelter is located at 2600 S Harding Street. If you believe that this may be your dog please go to the shelter to see if he's yours and get him. He doesn't deserve to stay there any longer than necessary. He will be kept for four days and then he'll be available for adoption or euthanasia. If his owners can't be found he would make an awesome pet for someone else.
